Fees
- WARRRL pays Refund Point Operators (RPOs) a handling fee of 6.25 cents per container to collect and undertake initial sorting of containers into material types.
- WARRRL will also reimburse RPOs the total refund amounts (operator paid) directly to customers in cash.
- A Refund Point (RP) may also be eligible for a GST Recovery Amount, to reimburse lost input tax credits due to purchasing containers from a charity with GST concessions.
- Where an RPO collects containers from a GST-registered entity that is entitled to access GST concessions, the RPO will receive a separate payment from WARRRL equal to the amount of the input tax credit that you are not entitled to claim on the total refund amount.
- All invoices and amounts due will be calculated automatically by WARRRL using the data the RP submits in their weekly claims.
Weekly claims
- RPOs must submit a weekly claim declaring the number of eligible containers collected during the previous calendar week by Tuesday, 5pm Perth time (or next business day if a public holiday) to be paid on time.
- RPOs are paid five business days after the valid payment claim is made and only if the claim is submitted prior to 5pm on Tuesday.
- RPOs should not issue tax invoices to WARRRL for the fees — WARRRL will issue invoices (recipient created tax invoice) on your behalf.
- Claim declarations should be submitted even if not 100% correct. Adjustments can only be made after a claim is submitted.

We do not provide any financial or tax advice and operators should seek their own advice in this regard.
Daily reconciliation
A daily reconciliation report can be printed from the POS device.
We recommend operators print a reconciliation every working day. It will help with GST matters and can be of help in case of missing payments, inconsistencies, and other issues.
