The opportunity

This role focuses on management of commercial contracts with container refund point, processing and logistics providers. Responsibilities will include

  • Establishing and maintaining supplier relationships across the state by serving as a single point of contact for contractual matters including issue resolution, contract renewal and contract reporting.
  • Implementing and overseeing best practice, policies and procedures; setting and ensuring delivery of agreed KPIs including those relating to environmental and safety requirements.
  • Working collaboratively with the executive leadership team to maximise commercial performance

Regular travel to areas in regional WA will also be required.

  • Advanced negotiation and problem solving skills

The opportunity

This role focuses on supporting communications and event coordination to raise public awareness of the launch of Containers for Change. Responsibilities will include

  • creating events using online booking platforms and monitor booking rates to identify where additional event promotion may be required,
  • helping develop turnout plans that encompass a variety of outreach methods,
  • helping develop creative assets,
  • ensuring successful delivery of key events including achievement of attendance,
  •  managing the subscription/mailing database via MailChimp and effectively deploy key messages,
  • working with local and national public relations agencies to ensure timeliness, consistency and cut through, ensuring communication of the scheme is in line with legislative and organisational requirements, and
  • supporting social media activities.

Work outside office hours may be necessary, including state-wide travel.

The opportunity

This role focuses on ensuring the integrity of the Container Deposit Scheme via the design and implementation of audit and integrity program, along with risk identification and mitigation activities. Responsibilities will include:

  • Drive standards among scheme participants to ensure awareness and compliance to scheme integrity requirements;
  • Identify and resolve anomalies in the movement and volume of containers that may indicate fraudulent activity;
  • Oversee fraud investigations and outcomes;
  • Development and oversight of WARRRL risk management framework and internal audit plan, including reporting to WARRRL Audit and Risk Committee.
